Comparison Review

Comfort
Rear passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Ford Escape than in the Volvo EX90. The Volvo EX90 will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the Ford Escape.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Clearly, the Ford Escape is a better financial choice over the Volvo EX90, when considering MSRP.

Dimensions
Since the Ford Escape is much slimmer than the Volvo EX90, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Ford Escape, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Volvo EX90.

Handling
The Ford Escape has the same turning radius as the Volvo EX90, so they both maneuver the same in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the Volvo EX90 is clearly the choice over the Ford Escape for pulling heavy loads. When it comes to horsepower, the Ford Escape has a lot less horsepower than the Volvo EX90.

Powertrain
Due to its much higher torque, the Ford Escape does a much better job of transmitting its engine's horsepower to its wheels than the Volvo EX90.

Utility
The Ford Escape has less seating than the Volvo EX90, making the Volvo EX90 the better choice, if you need to chauffeur many passengers. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries in the Ford Escape as you will in the Volvo EX90.
