Jaguar Overview:
Jaguar is one of several British car companies that have “jumped the pond” so to speak and offers a trio of cars that excel when it comes to luxury and performance.
Starting things off is the entry-level XF, although there’s nothing really entry-level about it. A luxury sport sedan, the XF gets new seats for 2012 that offer more support and a few styling tweaks to the interior to improve its functionality, as well as three new stereos. Thankfully though, the drivetrain options remain the same – a trio of V-8s (two of them supercharged) and a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters.
The XK luxury sports coupe/convertible receives updated styling for the new model year, but the look still reminds of a toned-down Aston Martin. A navigation system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and leather upholstery come standard. For those who want even more power, the XKR and limited-edition XKR-S trims take the XK’s performance to whole other level.
At the top of the Jaguar lineup is the flagship XJ full-size luxury sedan, which is also available in a long-wheelbase version (XJL) that features reclining rear seats. The cabin is full of luxurious and advanced technological features such as a navigation system with an 8-inch touch screen, heated and ventilated front seats, and a stereo with HD radio and hard drive storage. If you get tired of checking out the interior around, then check out the sky passing overhead through the panoramic glass moonroof.
