Acura Overview:
Acura, the luxury division of Honda, offers a range of vehicles high on sophistication but with a sporty edge as well.
Starting things off is the flexible TSX, which comes as both a sedan and a wagon. The TSX might be the smallest car Acura makes, but it could be argued that it wears the signature pentagon-grille the best. Inside you get plenty of standard features including Bluetooth® connectivity and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Next up is the midsize TL luxury sedan, which was thankfully restyled in 2012 and now has a more elegant, less “beaky” look. Fuel economy was also improved for the new model year thanks to aerodynamic improvements and a new six-speed automatic which brings highway mpg up to 29. The TL also features Acura’s super-handling all-wheel drive (SH-AWD) system as an option.
The RL is Acura’s flagship sedan, offering plenty of luxury trappings on the inside and standard SH-AWD for superior traction and performance.
Acura also offers a trio of crossovers, each with different aims. The smallest is the five-seat RDX, which is very competitively priced for its segment. And it also comes with a long list of standard equipment (we’re becoming a broken record on this) including heated front seats, leather upholstery, and a moonroof.
If you need more space or cargo room, the seven-seat MDX might be more up your alley. The MDX also packs in the features, as all trims come with SH-AWD, tri-zone automatic climate control, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Finishing things up is the sporty ZDX, Acura’s answer to the BMW X6. The ZDX has elements of a coupe (sloping roof), sedan (four doors), and a crossover all jumbled together into a vehicle that’s the size of an SUV but sleek like a car. It also comes with SH-AWD standard and is powered by a 300-hp V-6.
