Comparison Review

Comfort
Rear passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the GMC Terrain than in the Mazda CX-30. The GMC Terrain offers just a little more front head- and legroom than the Mazda CX-30, making it a little more comfortable for the driver and front passenger.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the GMC Terrain as you will with the Mazda CX-30, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Whether you pick the GMC Terrain or the Mazda CX-30, it's going to cost you about the same.

Dimensions
Since the GMC Terrain is much wider than the Mazda CX-30, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the GMC Terrain, which is slightly longer than the Mazda CX-30.

Handling
The GMC Terrain has a larger turning radius than the Mazda CX-30, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The GMC Terrain has a little less horsepower than the Mazda CX-30.

Powertrain
Due to its much higher torque, the GMC Terrain does a much better job of transmitting its engine's horsepower to its wheels than the Mazda CX-30.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the GMC Terrain and the Mazda CX-30. With the GMC Terrain, you'll be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Mazda CX-30.
