Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the GMC Terrain than in the FIAT 500X, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between front seat comfort in the FIAT 500X and the GMC Terrain.

Convenience
The GMC Terrain requires fewer stops at the gas station than the FIAT 500X, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the FIAT 500X will have less of an impact on your bank account than the GMC Terrain.

Dimensions
Since the FIAT 500X is much slimmer than the GMC Terrain, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the FIAT 500X, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the GMC Terrain.

Handling
The FIAT 500X has a smaller turning radius than the GMC Terrain, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's a virtual tie between the FIAT 500X and the GMC Terrain.

Powertrain
The FIAT 500X has much lower torque than the GMC Terrain, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the FIAT 500X and the GMC Terrain. The FIAT 500X has significantly less cargo capacity than the GMC Terrain.
