Comparison Review

Comfort
Rear passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the GMC Terrain than in the MINI Countryman. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between front seat comfort in the GMC Terrain and the MINI Countryman.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Clearly, the GMC Terrain is a better financial choice over the MINI Countryman, when considering MSRP.

Dimensions
Since the GMC Terrain is much wider than the MINI Countryman, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the GMC Terrain, which is slightly longer than the MINI Countryman.

Handling
The GMC Terrain has a smaller turning radius than the MINI Countryman, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the GMC Terrain has a lot less horsepower than the MINI Countryman.

Powertrain
Due to its much higher torque, the GMC Terrain does a much better job of transmitting its engine's horsepower to its wheels than the MINI Countryman.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the GMC Terrain and the MINI Countryman. The GMC Terrain has a roomier cargo area for putting your bags or other items than the MINI Countryman.
