Comparison Review

Comfort
The Acura MDX offers rear passengers about the same room to stretch out as the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, with comparable head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between front seat comfort in the Acura MDX and the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura MDX as you will with the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura MDX will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, which has a much lower MSRP.

Dimensions
Since the Acura MDX is much wider than the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Acura MDX, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

Handling
The Acura MDX has a significantly larger turning radius than the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the Acura MDX is clearly the choice over the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid for pulling heavy loads. The Acura MDX has a little more horsepower than the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

Powertrain
Due to its much higher torque, the Acura MDX does a much better job of transmitting its engine's horsepower to its wheels than the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

Utility
The Acura MDX offers greater seating capacity than the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, making it a better choice for those who find themselves chauffeuring others around. With the Acura MDX, you'll be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.
