Comparison Review

Comfort
The Acura MDX offers rear passengers about the same room to stretch out as the Genesis GV80, with comparable head- and legroom. The Genesis GV80 will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the Acura MDX.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura MDX as you will with the Genesis GV80, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Acura MDX will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Genesis GV80.

Dimensions
The Acura MDX is a little wider than the Genesis GV80, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. When looking at overall length, the Acura MDX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Genesis GV80.

Handling
The Acura MDX has a larger turning radius than the Genesis GV80, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the Genesis GV80 is clearly the choice over the Acura MDX for pulling heavy loads. When it comes to horsepower, the Acura MDX has a lot less horsepower than the Genesis GV80.

Powertrain
The Acura MDX has much lower torque than the Genesis GV80, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Acura MDX and the Genesis GV80. The Acura MDX has a roomier cargo area for putting your bags or other items than the Genesis GV80.
