Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater head- and legroom, passengers in the extended cab will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Honda Ridgeline than in the GMC Canyon. The GMC Canyon will be a favorite with tall drivers and their passengers, since it has much greater head- and legroom than the Honda Ridgeline.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the GMC Canyon as you will with the Honda Ridgeline, as they can travel a similar number of miles on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Whether you pick the GMC Canyon or the Honda Ridgeline, it's going to cost you about the same.

Dimensions
Since the GMC Canyon is much slimmer than the Honda Ridgeline, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. When looking at overall length, the GMC Canyon takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Honda Ridgeline.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the GMC Canyon is clearly the choice over the Honda Ridgeline for pulling heavy loads. The GMC Canyon has a little more horsepower than the Honda Ridgeline.

Powertrain
Due to its much higher torque, the GMC Canyon does a much better job of transmitting the horsepower of the engine to the wheels than the Honda Ridgeline.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit the same number of people in the GMC Canyon as you will the Honda Ridgeline. The GMC Canyon has a slightly greater cargo capacity for your lumber or other material than the Honda Ridgeline.
