Comparison Review

Comfort
The GMC Canyon offers a bit more room for passengers in the extended cab than the Toyota Tundra. The GMC Canyon will be a favorite with tall drivers and their passengers, since it has much greater head- and legroom than the Toyota Tundra.

Convenience
With the Toyota Tundra you will definitely be making fewer stops at the gas station than with the GMC Canyon, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the GMC Canyon will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Toyota Tundra.

Dimensions
Since the GMC Canyon is much slimmer than the Toyota Tundra, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the GMC Canyon, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Toyota Tundra.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the Toyota Tundra is clearly the choice over the GMC Canyon for pulling heavy loads. When it comes to horsepower, the GMC Canyon is clearly outclassed by the Toyota Tundra.

Powertrain
With its lower torque engine, the GMC Canyon doesn't do as good a job transmitting horsepower to its wheels as the Toyota Tundra.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit the same number of people in the GMC Canyon as you will the Toyota Tundra.
