Comfort
Rear passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Mazda CX-70 than in the Volvo XC60.
The Mazda CX-70 will be popular with taller drivers and passengers in the front seat, due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Volvo XC60.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Mazda CX-70 as you will with the Volvo XC60, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Mazda CX-70 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Volvo XC60.

Dimensions
The Mazda CX-70 is a little narrower than the Volvo XC60, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot.
If you go with the Mazda CX-70, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Volvo XC60.

Handling
The Mazda CX-70 has the same turning radius as the Volvo XC60, so they both maneuver the same in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the Mazda CX-70 is clearly the choice over the Volvo XC60 for pulling heavy loads.
The Mazda CX-70 has a little more horsepower than the Volvo XC60.

Powertrain
With somewhat higher torque, the Mazda CX-70 transmits power to its wheels a bit more effectively than the Volvo XC60.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Mazda CX-70 and the Volvo XC60.
