Comparison Review

Comfort
Rear passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the BMW X5 than in the Volvo EX30. The Volvo EX30 will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the BMW X5.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The BMW X5 will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Volvo EX30, which has a much lower MSRP.

Dimensions
Since the BMW X5 is much wider than the Volvo EX30, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the BMW X5, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Volvo EX30.

Handling
The BMW X5 has a significantly larger turning radius than the Volvo EX30, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The BMW X5 has a little less horsepower than the Volvo EX30.

Powertrain
The BMW X5 has much lower torque than the Volvo EX30, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the BMW X5 and the Volvo EX30. With the BMW X5, you'll be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Volvo EX30.
