Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class than the Acura TLX, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Acura TLX and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the front seats.

Convenience
With the Mercedes-Benz E-Class you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the Acura TLX, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Acura TLX is clearly a better financial choice over the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Dimensions
The Acura TLX is a little wider than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. When looking at overall length, the Acura TLX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Handling
The Acura TLX has a larger turning radius than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Acura TLX is somewhat more powerful than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Powertrain
With its lower torque, the Acura TLX doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TLX and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
