Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Honda Accord than the Honda Civic Hybrid.
As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Honda Accord and the Honda Civic Hybrid in the front seats.
Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Honda Accord as you will with the Honda Civic Hybrid, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.
Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Honda Accord will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Honda Civic Hybrid.
Dimensions
Since the Honda Accord is much wider than the Honda Civic Hybrid, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging.
If you go with the Honda Accord, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Honda Civic Hybrid.
Performance
The Honda Accord has less horsepower than the Honda Civic Hybrid, so it will probably be somewhat slower.
Powertrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the Honda Accord does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the Honda Civic Hybrid.
Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Honda Accord and the Honda Civic Hybrid.
