Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Lincoln Nautilus than in the BMW X3, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between front seat comfort in the BMW X3 and the Lincoln Nautilus.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the BMW X3 as you will with the Lincoln Nautilus, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW X3 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Lincoln Nautilus. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. Both the BMW X3 and the Lincoln Nautilus have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the BMW X3 is much slimmer than the Lincoln Nautilus, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. The BMW X3 is slightly shorter than the Lincoln Nautilus, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque engine, the BMW X3 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Lincoln Nautilus.

Handling
The BMW X3 has a larger turning radius than the Lincoln Nautilus, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the BMW X3 is clearly the choice over the Lincoln Nautilus for pulling heavy loads. In terms of horsepower, it's a virtual tie between the BMW X3 and the Lincoln Nautilus.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the BMW X3 and the Lincoln Nautilus. The BMW X3 has less cargo space than the Lincoln Nautilus, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The BMW X3 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Lincoln Nautilus.
