Comparison Review

Comfort
The Acura TLX offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the Audi A3 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. The Acura TLX will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Audi A3.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura TLX as you will with the Audi A3, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura TLX will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Audi A3, which has a much lower MSRP.

Dimensions
Since the Acura TLX is much wider than the Audi A3, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Acura TLX, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Audi A3.

Handling
The Acura TLX has a significantly larger turning radius than the Audi A3, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Acura TLX has a much more powerful engine than the Audi A3. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Powertrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the Acura TLX transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Audi A3.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TLX and the Audi A3.
