Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Lexus GX 550 than in the Acura RDX, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Acura RDX offers just a little more front head- and legroom than the Lexus GX 550, making it a little more comfortable for the driver and front passenger.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura RDX as you will with the Lexus GX 550, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Clearly, the Acura RDX is a better financial choice over the Lexus GX 550, when considering MSRP.

Dimensions
Since the Acura RDX is much slimmer than the Lexus GX 550, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Acura RDX, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Lexus GX 550.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the Lexus GX 550 is clearly the choice over the Acura RDX for pulling heavy loads. When it comes to horsepower, the Acura RDX has a lot less horsepower than the Lexus GX 550.

Powertrain
The Acura RDX has much lower torque than the Lexus GX 550, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Acura RDX and the Lexus GX 550.
