Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat may find themselves a little more cramped in the Cadillac XT5 than the Lexus RX 350. The Lexus RX 350 will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the Cadillac XT5.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Cadillac XT5 as you will with the Lexus RX 350, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Whether you pick the Cadillac XT5 or the Lexus RX 350, it's going to cost you about the same. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. Both the Cadillac XT5 and the Lexus RX 350 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Cadillac XT5 is about the same width as the Lexus RX 350. When looking at overall length, the Cadillac XT5 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Lexus RX 350.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque engine, the Cadillac XT5 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Lexus RX 350.

Handling
The Cadillac XT5 has a significantly smaller turning radius than the Lexus RX 350, allowing you to much more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Cadillac XT5 and the Lexus RX 350. The Cadillac XT5 has a roomier cargo area for putting your bags or other items than the Lexus RX 350.

Warranty
The Cadillac XT5 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Lexus RX 350.
