Comparison Review

Comfort
The Acura ZDX offers rear passengers about the same room to stretch out as the BMW X5 PHEV, with comparable head- and legroom. The BMW X5 PHEV offers just a little more front head- and legroom than the Acura ZDX, offering the driver and front passenger a bit more room and comfort.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Acura ZDX will have less of an impact on your bank account than the BMW X5 PHEV.

Dimensions
Since the Acura ZDX is much slimmer than the BMW X5 PHEV, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. When looking at overall length, the Acura ZDX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the BMW X5 PHEV.

Handling
The Acura ZDX has a smaller turning radius than the BMW X5 PHEV, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the BMW X5 PHEV is clearly the choice over the Acura ZDX for pulling heavy loads. In terms of horsepower, it's a virtual tie between the Acura ZDX and the BMW X5 PHEV.

Powertrain
With its lower torque engine, the Acura ZDX doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the BMW X5 PHEV.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Acura ZDX and the BMW X5 PHEV. The Acura ZDX has less cargo space than the BMW X5 PHEV, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.
