Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the extended cab may find themselves a little more squished in the Nissan Titan XD than the RAM 3500. The Nissan Titan XD offers just a little more head- and legroom than the RAM 3500, making it a little roomier and more comfortable.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Nissan Titan XD is somewhat more expensive than the RAM 3500.

Dimensions
The Nissan Titan XD is a little wider than the RAM 3500, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. If you go with the Nissan Titan XD, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the RAM 3500.

Handling
The Nissan Titan XD has a similar turning radius to the RAM 3500, so both should maneuver just as easily in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the RAM 3500 is clearly the choice over the Nissan Titan XD for pulling heavy loads. In terms of horsepower, it's a virtual tie between the Nissan Titan XD and the RAM 3500.

Powertrain
With its lower torque engine, the Nissan Titan XD doesn't do as good a job transmitting horsepower to its wheels as the RAM 3500.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit the same number of people in the Nissan Titan XD as you will the RAM 3500.
