Comparison Review

Comfort
Rear passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Acura MDX than in the Lexus GX 460. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between front seat comfort in the Acura MDX and the Lexus GX 460.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura MDX as you will with the Lexus GX 460, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura MDX is somewhat more expensive than the Lexus GX 460.

Dimensions
Since the Acura MDX is much wider than the Lexus GX 460, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Acura MDX, which is slightly longer than the Lexus GX 460.

Handling
The Acura MDX has a larger turning radius than the Lexus GX 460, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the Lexus GX 460 is clearly the choice over the Acura MDX for pulling heavy loads. The Acura MDX has a little less horsepower than the Lexus GX 460.

Powertrain
With its lower torque engine, the Acura MDX doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Lexus GX 460.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Acura MDX and the Lexus GX 460. With the Acura MDX, you'll be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Lexus GX 460.
