Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Kia Forte than the Hyundai Accent, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Hyundai Accent and the Kia Forte in the front seats.

Convenience
The Kia Forte requires fewer visits to the gas station than the Hyundai Accent, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Hyundai Accent will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Kia Forte. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Hyundai Accent and the Kia Forte have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Hyundai Accent is much slimmer than the Kia Forte, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Hyundai Accent, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Kia Forte.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Hyundai Accent doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Kia Forte.

Handling
The Hyundai Accent has a smaller turning radius than the Kia Forte, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Hyundai Accent has less horsepower than the Kia Forte, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Hyundai Accent and the Kia Forte. The Hyundai Accent has less cargo capacity than the Kia Forte, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The Hyundai Accent comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Kia Forte.
