Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Volvo S90 than the Cadillac CTS, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Cadillac CTS will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Volvo S90.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Cadillac CTS as you will with the Volvo S90, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Cadillac CTS is somewhat more expensive than the Volvo S90. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Cadillac CTS and the Volvo S90 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Cadillac CTS is much slimmer than the Volvo S90, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. The Cadillac CTS is slightly shorter than the Volvo S90, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Cadillac CTS doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Volvo S90.

Handling
The Cadillac CTS has a smaller turning radius than the Volvo S90, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's basically a tie between the Cadillac CTS and the Volvo S90.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Cadillac CTS and the Volvo S90. The Cadillac CTS has less cargo capacity than the Volvo S90, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The Cadillac CTS comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Volvo S90.
