Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Nissan Rogue than in the Buick Encore, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Nissan Rogue will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the Buick Encore.

Convenience
The Nissan Rogue requires fewer stops at the gas station than the Buick Encore, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Buick Encore will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Nissan Rogue. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Buick Encore carries a much lower Destination Charge than the Nissan Rogue.

Dimensions
Since the Buick Encore is much slimmer than the Nissan Rogue, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Buick Encore, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Nissan Rogue.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque engine, the Buick Encore doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Nissan Rogue.

Performance
The Buick Encore has a little less horsepower than the Nissan Rogue.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Buick Encore and the Nissan Rogue. The Buick Encore has significantly less cargo capacity than the Nissan Rogue.

Warranty
The Buick Encore comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Nissan Rogue.
