Comparison Review

Comfort
The BMW 530 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the Jaguar XF with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Jaguar XF, the BMW 530 may be a little roomier and more comfortable for the driver and front seat passengers.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the BMW 530 as you will with the Jaguar XF, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW 530 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Jaguar XF. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 530 carries a much lower Destination Charge than the Jaguar XF.

Dimensions
Since the BMW 530 is much slimmer than the Jaguar XF, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. When looking at overall length, the BMW 530 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Jaguar XF.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the BMW 530 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Jaguar XF.

Handling
The BMW 530 has a larger turning radius than the Jaguar XF, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's basically a tie between the BMW 530 and the Jaguar XF.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 530 and the Jaguar XF. The BMW 530 has significantly less cargo room than the Jaguar XF, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The basic warranty of the BMW 530 is not as nearly as extensive as that of the Jaguar XF.
