Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Audi A6 than the Cadillac CTS. The Cadillac CTS will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Audi A6.

Convenience
With the Audi A6 you will definitely be making fewer stops at the gas station than with the Cadillac CTS, due to its larger tank size and better fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Audi A6 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Cadillac CTS. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi A6 and the Cadillac CTS have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Audi A6 is much wider than the Cadillac CTS, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. When looking at overall length, the Audi A6 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Cadillac CTS.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Audi A6 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Cadillac CTS.

Handling
The Audi A6 has about the same turning radius as the Cadillac CTS, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Audi A6 is significantly less powerful than the Cadillac CTS. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Audi A6 and the Cadillac CTS. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the Audi A6 as you will in the Cadillac CTS.

Warranty
The Audi A6 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Cadillac CTS.
