Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Volvo S90 than the Acura RLX, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Acura RLX and the Volvo S90 in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura RLX as you will with the Volvo S90, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura RLX is somewhat more expensive than the Volvo S90. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura RLX and the Volvo S90 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Acura RLX is about the same width as the Volvo S90. When looking at overall length, the Acura RLX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Volvo S90.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Acura RLX doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Volvo S90.

Handling
The Acura RLX has a larger turning radius than the Volvo S90, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Acura RLX has less horsepower than the Volvo S90, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura RLX and the Volvo S90. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the Acura RLX as you will in the Volvo S90.

Warranty
The Acura RLX comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Volvo S90.
