Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will feel a little more squished in the Acura RLX than in the Lexus ES 350, due to the Acura RLX's smaller rear head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Acura RLX and the Lexus ES 350 in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura RLX as you will with the Lexus ES 350, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura RLX will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Lexus ES 350, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura RLX and the Lexus ES 350 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Acura RLX is a little wider than the Lexus ES 350, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. When looking at overall length, the Acura RLX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Lexus ES 350.

Drivetrain
With similar torque, the Acura RLX and the Lexus ES 350 do an equal job of transmitting their engine's power to their wheels.

Handling
The Acura RLX has a larger turning radius than the Lexus ES 350, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's basically a tie between the Acura RLX and the Lexus ES 350.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura RLX and the Lexus ES 350. The Acura RLX has less cargo capacity than the Lexus ES 350, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The Acura RLX comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Lexus ES 350.
