Comparison Review

Comfort
Rear passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Acura RDX than in the Lexus NX 300. The Acura RDX offers just a little more front head- and legroom than the Lexus NX 300, making it a little more comfortable for the driver and front passenger.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura RDX as you will with the Lexus NX 300, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura RDX is somewhat more expensive than the Lexus NX 300. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. Both the Acura RDX and the Lexus NX 300 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Acura RDX is a little wider than the Lexus NX 300, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Acura RDX, which is slightly longer than the Lexus NX 300.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the Acura RDX transmits power to its wheels a bit more effectively than the Lexus NX 300.

Handling
The Acura RDX has a smaller turning radius than the Lexus NX 300, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Acura RDX has a little more horsepower than the Lexus NX 300.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Acura RDX and the Lexus NX 300. The Acura RDX has a roomier cargo area for putting your bags or other items than the Lexus NX 300.

Warranty
The Acura RDX comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Lexus NX 300.
