Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Buick Enclave than in the Acura MDX, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Buick Enclave will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the Acura MDX.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura MDX as you will with the Buick Enclave, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura MDX is somewhat more expensive than the Buick Enclave. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura MDX carries a much lower Destination Charge than the Buick Enclave.

Dimensions
The Acura MDX is a little narrower than the Buick Enclave, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. The Acura MDX is slightly shorter than the Buick Enclave, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With similar torque, the Acura MDX and the Buick Enclave are about even in transmitting their respective horsepower to the wheels.

Handling
The Acura MDX has the same turning radius as the Buick Enclave, so they both maneuver the same in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the Acura MDX is clearly the choice over the Buick Enclave for pulling heavy loads. The Acura MDX has a little less horsepower than the Buick Enclave.

Utility
The Acura MDX has less seating than the Buick Enclave, making the Buick Enclave the better choice, if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The Acura MDX has less cargo space than the Buick Enclave, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Acura MDX than that of the Buick Enclave.
