Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Jeep Wrangler than in the Jeep Compass, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Jeep Wrangler will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the Jeep Compass.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Jeep Compass as you will with the Jeep Wrangler, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Clearly, the Jeep Compass is a better financial choice over the Jeep Wrangler, when considering MSRP.

Dimensions
The Jeep Compass is about the same width as the Jeep Wrangler. If you go with the Jeep Compass, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Jeep Wrangler.

Handling
The Jeep Compass has a smaller turning radius than the Jeep Wrangler, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the Jeep Wrangler is clearly the choice over the Jeep Compass for pulling heavy loads. When it comes to horsepower, the Jeep Compass has a lot less horsepower than the Jeep Wrangler.

Powertrain
With its lower torque engine, the Jeep Compass doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Jeep Wrangler.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Jeep Compass and the Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep Compass has significantly less cargo capacity than the Jeep Wrangler.
