Toyota announced on February 8, 2010 that it will conduct a voluntary safety recall on approximately 133,000 2010 Prius vehicles and 14,500 2010 Lexus HS 250h vehicles, effective this month.
The recall will address a software update in the anti-lock brake system in both popular hybrid models. Toyota had begun fixing the software for the 2010 Prius on the assembly lines last month.
In addition to the 2010 Toyota Prius and Lexus HS 250h hybrid recall, Toyota also announced another recall involving a power-steering problem in approximately 7,300 2010 four-cylinder Toyota Camrys.
